Every child needs this book as their first introduction to the blessed month of Ramadan.

I absolutely love that it doesn’t just talk about fasting, as this is often the one part that kids cannot relate to as they have not yet experienced it personally. This book talks about all the aspects. It talks about Ramadan as a month for doing good deeds. And not just monetary charity, but also helping others, etc. It introduces the concept of being excused from fasting, such as kids and old people. And so much more.

And the gorgeous and stunning illustrations perfectly depict a Ramadan masjid scene, with kids playing while the adults pray and focus on their ebaadah. Toddlers will delight in seeing taraweeh from their perspective included!

It’s rare to find such an informative book in boardbook format. So I really like that it’s accessible to the littlest kids too allowing them to sit and pore over the pictures on their own.

This book is part of a multibook series by the author, also introducing Allah, the Prophet ο·Ί, Hajj, and the Quran.
