So We inspired Moses: “Strike the sea with your staff,” and the sea was split, each part was like a huge mountain. {Soorah Shu'raah Ayah 63 26:63}
Supplies:
- 3 sheets of paper
- water colour paint
- scissors
- glue
(Alternatively, you could use different colours of construction paper)
Steps:
1- Cut one sheet of paper in half so that you have two 8.5 x 5 inch pieces of paper.
2- Paint those 2 pieces blue to represent the sea

3- Cut another sheet the same way as in Step 1.
4- Paint one of those pieces brown like the sand at the bottom of the sea

5- Cut strips halfway into the blue papers as shown. Then curl each strip to form a wave

6- Glue the brown piece of paper to the middle of the third sheet.
7- Glue the two waves papers on the edges of the sand.
8- And there you have it. The mountains of water and the path upon which Allah saved Musa and the believers!
